Drone destroys tank in southern Ukraine. As Ukrainian spearhead troops try to punch holes in the Russian defensive lines, a loiter munition drone hits a main battle tank on its weakest part. This video was shot by another drone used by reconnaissance troops.
In World War II, the tank was the king of the battlefield, as some of them seemed almost indestructible and hard to put out of action, but now remote controlled flying munition like this makes it look obsolete. Every developed country has drones, for either reconnaissance or attack, or both. And they are a lot cheaper to build than an artillery piece or a combat aircraft.
